2023年8月のオーストラリア市場について
Deliveries of new motor vehicles increased in August 2023 for the fifth month in a row as vehicles ordered months prior arrived in greater numbers – and production bottlenecks continue to ease across the automotive industry.
However industry experts say many of the vehicles driving the sales surge – for Toyota and other brands – were ordered months ago, or in some cases last year, and that it is not necessarily representative of the true demand for new cars last month.
しかし、業界の専門家らは、トヨタやその他のブランドの販売急増を牽引する車両の多くは数カ月前、場合によっては昨年に発注されたものであり、必ずしも先月の新車の真の需要を表しているわけではないと述べている。

2015年デビューのCX-3は、もう8年間フルモデルチェンジなしです。それでもここまで売れるのならば、スモール商品群のプラットフォームを使ってモデルチェンジしないのでしょうか？ 利益率の高いラージ商品群に力を注ぎたくなるのも分からなくはないですが、そうこうしている間に電気自動車の投入で、またBセグメントの優先度が下がりそうです。
